Welcome to Oaktree.

Oaktree City is a private community ran Minecraft Bedrock server. Joining Oaktree will require you to hold a connection to one or more of the players within the city and be able to prove that you hold no threat to the world. Greifing or damaging the world in anyway is an extremely serious offence and will result in instant barring for life.

Before attempting to join Oaktree city you will be able to join as a visitior and explore the city without breaking permissions if you so please. You are also emplored to read the city rules available on the "Rules" page of Oaktree.Gov.

This world is considered a "Simulation of Real Life" and in turn holds many of the rules, laws and regulations found within the real world. This means if something is illegal within the real world, its likely illegal within Oaktree too, If in doubt, Just ask.

How to join:

Oaktree is a request operated world & server meaning it does not have a dedicated 24/7 server platform. Oaktree is operated through Xbox live and local hosting meaning you must befrend the host in order to join.

If you wish to join you must also be part of the Oaktree Discord server "Cherry Chat"

Joining voice chats are not required to play however and you are able to interact with Oaktree through the ingame chat service, however joining Voice Chats are encouraged.

If you feel Oaktree is the world for you then just ask to join us through the Discord and we will start your application into the world.

Starting out, what to expect:

When you enter Oaktree City you will be given £1000 of the ingame world currency and be offered either an Apartment, Bungalow or House to live within under the Oaktree Council Housing Scheme. The different homes may come with different rules and restrictions such as the inability to change windows or the exteriour of the building, or being unable to change walls although this will be described to you when choosing.

You will get lost. Oaktree City is a HUGE Minecraft world with over 5 years of history, we do have signposts but you should be taken to the primary areas of interest which will help you get started and ready to play in the world.

You will also discover that Oaktree has different Councils across the world, these are different villages / settlements within the world which may employ their own rules although this information will be provided to you by the specific council if this is the case. Otherwise assume Oaktree City rules apply.
